Lamahatta

During my trip to Lamahatta in Darjeeling, I awoke one morning in my hotel to a truly breathtaking sight. As I opened the window, I was greeted with an stunning view of Kanchenjunga, the third highest peak in the world and a majestic part of the Himalayas. This was a rare and treasured moment, as the mountains are usually hidden behind a veil of clouds.

The landscape below was equally enchanting, with lush, green tea-covered hills stretching as far as the eye could see. These vibrant hills are a constant presence, their rich greenery providing a soothing contrast to the towering peaks. Throughout the day, as the sun filters through the clouds, the hillsides come alive with a brilliant, almost ethereal glow.

The entire scene felt like a slice of paradise, a place where the natural beauty of the Himalayas and the serene charm of the tea gardens combined to create a truly heavenly experience. It was a moment of pure magic, one that I will cherish forever.
